For the first time in more than 20 years, there have been some significant medical breakthroughs for the treatment of Glaucoma. Today’s commonly used glaucoma medications were approved in the 1970s. Other medications with different chemical compounds followed, but until now, there had been no major medical breakthrough since 1998.
